Board Vacancy

Are you interested in becoming a member of the CNC Board?

We have a vacancy for an elected member. We ideally are looking for someone with legal skills as we transition to a new model for Netball, and which would also add to the strong skills set that we already have on the Board.

Junior Netball Coordinator Assistants

Running the ANZ futureFERNS programme would not be possible without the assistance of our Junior Netball Coordinator Assistants. Each year we look for people aged 15+ with an interest in learning to coach to apply for futureFERNS Coach or Assistant positions. These are paid positions reporting to the Junior Netball Coordinator.

Positions are available Mon – Sun during the Winter season and some assistants are required to start in February.

​​​​​​​Management Committee Positions

Nominations are invited from individuals, or clubs supporting an individual, to be appointed by the Board to the respective Management Committees of Christchurch Netball Centre.

We have six Committees and we are keen to hear from anyone interested in being involved:

  • Competitions
  • Game Development
  • Game Officials
  • Awards
  • Legacy
  • Junior Netball Development

Each committee is supported by a staff member, however committee members are expected to be pro-active, committed to the cause and be available for meetings and events as required to support the Centre. 

These roles are a great opportunity to learn about the running of a netball centre, but also to gain skills and expertise on a well-run management committee and for you to share your knowledge and expertise within the group. 

Interested persons should be specific as to what committee they are interested in, what particular areas of interest/expertise they have that would be utilized on the identified committee or what areas of netball administration/management they wish to extend their skills and knowledge in.  

The Board commits to appoint to these committees through a fair and transparent appointment process.  Applicants may be called to interview.

Nominees must complete the appropriate nomination form and submit this together with any relevant supporting information to the Netball Manager, Christchurch Netball Centre by email.
