"Catch Netballs Challenge"
Christchurch Netball Centre (Netball Centre Building) is located at 455 Hagley Avenue.
Christchurch Netball is the largest netball centre in New Zealand catering for netball for players in and around the city and all 40 courts are situated in Hagley Park. It is estimated some 6000 players, parents and supporters, coaches, administrators and umpires pass through the Netball Centre each Saturday. The strength in this large netball centre is the fact that ALL games are played at the one central city site.
Competition is available for all ages from 10 years Future Ferns (Year 5) to "golden oldies" and/or Masters grades.
The season runs from April through to September each year. Grades from Premier down to Under 11 are available - social teams are also catered for in Second and Third grades.
Boys are able to play in teams up to Under 15 grade (unless special dispensation has been applied for and granted).

| Future Ferns (formerly Kiwi) netball is available throughout the season and in 2003 a further option of playing on Fridays between 4pm and 5pm was offered as an another alternative - this was very enthusiastically received and has grown enormously and proved to be very popular. The early morning Saturday start of 8.45am is still available. Budding Future Ferns you need to contact your nearest netball club or your school teacher in charge of netball at your school to see if they have a team entered. |
| Nettabury is also available for the youngsters on Sunday mornings at the Netball Centre commencing at 10.00am for 8 Sundays from May through to July each year- this is a great session of fun games, exercises and activities which parents are encouraged to be part of. |
The Netball Centre building is available for hire as a venue for your function or special occasion.
