If you would like topics to be presented or have an interest in particular types of coaching whether it be discussion with other coaches, sharing of concerns/best practices, problems requiring sharing please contact Kirsten who may assist and set up a coaching session to deal with these types of issues for club coaches.  Let Kirsten know the issues you would like covered so she can obtain a facilitator/presenter  and schedule a seminar or discussion on the topics required.   We realise not everyone is wanting to complete the accreditation pathway, but we need input and feedback what club coaches do want as well as the module type framework.

The Christchurch Netball Centre works alongside Netball NZ ( NNZ) to ensure we are providing the appropriate courses for our coaches to develop and extend their knowledge of coaching netball within the community at all levels. NNZ now run courses through a module formate - please see below for more information on what modules can be provided by your centre and how the framework works.

• Understanding your players must complete and take to player centred course.

"My Team & Me" - a new course being run by NNZ for beginner coaches of Intermediate, Secondary School and lower club teams.

Every year Sports Canterbury offer Coach Development Modules for coaches.  Check the Sport Canterbury website for heaps of valuable information and links to interesting websites.   This is updated on a very regular basis and involves coaching sessions for coaches at all levels in all sports.
