Involved with netball in Canterbury since 1987, Centre Vice President since 1999, Life member in 2006 and awarded a NNZ Service Award in 2008.   Netball involvement includes senior club coach, club secretary, club president; founding member of CGHS Netball club and coached at various levels including SISS and NZ Secondary Schools championships; Canterbury Netball Game Development Advisory Group Coordinator; Canterbury Representative team selector and team manager, NNZ Academy Squad Manager, NNZ SISS Team Manager and currently member of NNZ Core Consultation Group reviewing netball in NZ.   Experienced in sport administration, leadership and change management and is currently employed as a Human Resources Advisor.

Responsibility for Policies & Procedures, HR/Staff Management and Awards.

Board Member: - Mureen Turfrey

CNC executive member since 2008 following relocation from Southland where Mureen held various roles in Eastern Southland including President for 6 years, Treasurer and Secretary and many other committee and administrative positions.  She has coached at various levels, selected and managed representative teams as well as being a qualified Netball NZ Level umpire.  Mureen attended NNZ Council meetings as Southland Country & Eastern delegate many times and played a pivotal role in the MLT Events Centre committee which recently opened an indoor facility in Gore.  Vast netball experience, in-depth netball knowledge and strong administrative skills are some of the qualities Mureen brings to the Board.  Currently employed as an Office Manager for a major health care provider contracted to ACC.
Responsibility for Finance & Audit, future facilities development.

Board Member: - Rowena Clancy

An executive member of CNC for over 10 years and prior to that an active member of St Nicholas Netball Club committee. 

Rowena has been involved with Representative Committee, Draws Committee, Player Registration, Grading and supporting staff in Saturday competitions office and has also held representative team management roles. Currently Rowena is a Board member of Canterbury Sports Foundation.  Rowena has managerial and financial planning skills, and extensive networks in the local business community through working as a co-owner/director of a successful local business.

Board Member: - Lynlea Willan

Lynlea is a new Board member with vast knowledge and experience working at club level netball   (indoor and outdoor) in various positions including coach, selector, administrator previously at Templeton and Rolleston. Lynlea set up the Hornby Netball Club in 2008 where she is currently Club President.  Lynlea’s strength is in administration, organizational skills and a 'go getter' attitude and she works alongside her husband in an electronic repairs business.

Board Member: - Robyn Daly

An executive member of CNC for past 4 years as Game Officials representative.  St Peters Netball Club member, previously as a coach, and currently manager of St Peters A team; past President and life member of the club.   Played, coached and umpired netball in Invercargill, Gore, Menzies before moving to Christchurch. 

A member of Canterbury Regional Umpiring Coaching Panel for 3 years;  member of Canterbury NZ Regional Umpire Coaching Panel 2010 and also has role of co-convenor for Canterbury Regional Umpire Coaching Panel.  Robyn is a departmental administrator in Department of Psychology, University of Canterbury.
Responsibility for Policies & Procedures, HR/Staff management.
