Premier Competition

Premier Competition is contested in Winter (April/May through to September). Premier 1 is played indoors on a Tuesday evening at Bishopdale. Premier 2 competition is contested at St Margaret's College on a Saturday.

Premier 1 compete for the Trust Bank Trophy. Premier 2 compete for the Memorial Garden Trophy.

Premier 1 grade competition players contribute to the ANZ premiership, National Netball League and age group teams (and are involved in an Inter-Centre competition (if held) prior to Round 1). It is a high standard of competition which is played indoors on weeknights.

The top school/college teams play in Premier 2.

Promotion/relegation takes place at the end of round 1 in closed grade competition.

Shield competition

Throughout the regular season teams compete in a shield competition which is contested for each game for the current holders play:

• Brenda Condon Premier Challenge Shield in Premier 1
• Challenge Shield in Premier 2. 

Most valuable player

Most Valuable Player awards were introduced in the 2012 season. The Most Valuable Player across Premier and Senior Competitions receives the Mike Siave Memorial Cup. For current MVP results: Click here
