Examinations
New Umpire and Player Module
All players in Premier Senior, Senior Reserve, Challenge Grade, Open League, U21 and U19 teams will be required to sit and pass the New Umpire and Player Module prior to the first competition game unless they hold a current umpire qualification of Centre badge or above. This exam is accessible via the Sport Tutor Portal. It is important to follow the instructions via the documentation available right.
Completion certificates can be forwarded to your club for sending on to the Game Officials Coordinator or the Umpire Activator.
Umpire Examinations
Dates for the 2023 NNZ Zone Theory and New Zealand Theory exams have been set as shown below (but are yet to open). They will run online via Sport Tutor. The NNZ Zone Theory Exam is the first step in gaining your Zone Umpire Award. Instructions on how to register can be found right.
