Christchurch Netball Centre has a variety of different awards to recognise and honour service to Christchurch Netball.
Christchurch Netball Centre's Life Membership Award recognises individuals who have given exceptional service to the game of netball that has enhanced the game locally, regionally or nationally/internationally.The Centre’s Service Awards recognise individuals who have made an outstanding contribution that has added value to the game of netball in Christchurch and beyond. The annual Centre Awards recognise outstanding service and contribution to netball through the current season.

Life Membership

  • Awarded annually at the CNC AGM
  • 15+ years service (guideline only)
  • Already attained a Service Award
  • Nominations accepted from clubs and any affiliated member of CNC

Service Award

  • Awarded annually at the CNC AGM
  • Five to 15 continuous years service
  • Nominations accepted from clubs and any affiliated member of CNC

Centre Award​​​​​​​

  • Awarded annually at the end of season volunteer celebration
  • Four Centre Award categories: Club, Administrator, Coach of a Senior Team, Coach of a Junior Team
  • Nominations accepted from advisory groups, clubs and any affiliated member of CNC

Game Officials Awards​​​​​​

  • Awarded annually at the end of season volunteer celebration
  • Six Umpire Award categories: Umpire of the Year, Most Promising Umpire, Service to Bench Officials, Most Improved Umpire, Services to Umpires and Club Umpire
  • Umpire Award recipients to be determined by CNC Game Officials Advisory Group in consulation with panel convenors and coaches
