Kia ora Koutou,
Welcome back to netball!
After weeks of uncertainty from early March, netball has finally returned to the courts, starting with Premier netball competition on Tuesday night.
This Saturday teams in Senior grades through to 3rd grade will take to the Hagley Park netball courts for the first time this season, closely followed by the new Men's competition which starts next Wednesday night indoors at Hillview. Senior grades and Men's will play one hour games.
It was great to have the Centre transformed into The Good Oil Tactix FAN ZONE for Saturday's game. We hope that teams and families will continue to take advantage of the opportunity to watch the game together, with another six games scheduled to be shown at the Centre.
As announced last week, the Christchurch City Council has approved the lease of Ngā Puna Wai for the home of the Netsal facility. As a result, the Centre in Hagley Park will need to be put up for sale. We know this raises a number of questions. These will be addressed at a Special Meeting next Monday 29 June at 7pm at the Centre.
The school holidays are also fast approaching, so don't forget to sign up as spaces are limited.
