Sportway is a leader in sports broadcasting technology. They have partnered with netball across New Zealand as well as countless other sporting codes. 

Sportway video cameras installed at the Netball Sports Centre will capture U15 and above age grade, open and closed grade game footage, to make it much easier for families and coaches to keep up with the action.  

“Bringing Sportway technology into the home of Christchurch Netball means that no one has to miss a game all season,” says Christchurch Netball General Manager Angela Pryor.  

Earlier this year, Ange and her team carefully tested the idea of making Christchurch Netball senior game footage available to families via a live streaming subscription in 2025.  

Sportway’s expertise in sports streaming technology is their point of difference. Working with sports at all levels, they fully appreciate the importance of transparency and understanding the participants’ needs in a family-focused environment. 

Sportway says: “Times are changing; parents or other relatives will no longer have to film games themselves. With our fixed installations and AI-technology, we bring your family’s sporting moments to you LIVE, straight to the comfort of your own living room.” 

Individuals will find the following options, which give families and coaches flexibility: 

$50 | season subscription 
$15 | per month 
$5 | pay per view 

Coaches can enquire directly about purchasing the Sportway Coaching App, which provides them with the tools to analyse game footage, by e-mailing comms@cnc.org.nz 

Players can opt out of their team’s games being streamed by contacting Christchurch Netball – comms@cnc.org.nz  

As the new home of netball in Christchurch, the Netball Sports Centre will join other key sports hubs across New Zealand that have adopted this technology with great success.
