Christchurch Netball Centre Awards Night


Christchurch Netball Centre's night of nights to celebrate the achievements of its members, volunteers and the support of its sponsors was held on Monday 6 November at The Atrium.

The Christchurch Netball Centre Club Awards recognize, acknowledge and reward a specific club, coach and administrator that have made a significant contribution to netball in their field. Nominations are open each year.

2017 CNC Awards:

Most Valuable Players 2017 - Gemma Hazeldine, Jess Allan, Natalie Cox
Coach of the Year - Andrea Cousins
Umpire of the Year - Jane Hickmott-Balks
Team of the Year - Kereru Netball Club
Administrator of the Year - Lisa Ewan

Club Umpire Trophy – St Margaret’s
Most promising umpire – Katya Paki
Most improved umpire – Niva Chittock
Service to Game Officials – Maree Morel
Service to Umpiring – Anne-Marie Wilson

Clubs are encouraged to nominate a member who has made a significant contribution during the year for the Christchurch Netball Centre Volunteer Awards. This year Christchurch Netball Centre had the opportunity to acknowledge four extremely valuable Volunteers.
