Music: There will be amplified music throughout the celebration. However, all functions except Saturday evenings will be finished by 830 p.m. The Saturday night of the 7th, 21st and 28th of April an Friday 13th April will finish at 10.30 p.m. All functions will have monitored noise levels to ensure they do not exceed Council requirements.
Parade of Nations: On the 1st, 15th and 22nd April there will be a Parade of Nations. Participants will parade around the exterior of South Hagley Park and then congregate at the marquee. A traffic management plan will be in place for these dates, although we do not anticipate much public disruption.
Parking: We anticipate public enthusiasm during the celebration and as games are free to watch we expect there could be increased public parking around the park.

We want to extend a very warm invitation to you to join us for the public events and see what the Golden Oldies are all about. Security will be present during the celebration.
