What an amazing week it has been. Close to home and despite a few cancellations we have had the colour and fun of the school holiday programme.

The New Zealand Secondary Schools Championships have been on in Porirua this week, and what an amazing result in particular for St Margaret's who finished runners up to Hamilton Girls High School. St Andrew's College finished 12th, and Christchurch Girls High School 15th.

The 2022 Cadbury Volunteer of the Year Awards have been announced, and in recognition of a stellar year, Andrea Cousins received the Volunteer Coach of the Year Award. Andrea was also the recipient of the Coach of the Year award for our Annual Club awards which were announced this week. Our congratulations also to CFC Netball Club and Hannah Williams. Further annual awards will be announced at a later date.

The CCA Level 1 Coaching Award weekend is now underway and it's that time of year where we see the return of Summer Netball! While entries are now closed, email expressions of interest can still be submitted.

Internationally, we have had the Trans Tasman netball series and in only a matter of weeks the International Fast5 Tournament will be held in Christchurch.

And finally a reminder regarding the Centenary Gala on 29 October. Bookings close on 20 October, so remember to book to avoid disappointment.

Please keep safe and well.

Let's Keep it Positive! Tika+Pono+Aroha
